Smyrna Public Library houses a rotating art display, highlighting visual artists all around Tennessee! Patrons are encouraged to stop and admire the work and artists are encouraged to leave their information with their art. The hope is to connect artists with new fans and connect the community to art and mediums they may not have otherwise found.
Right now, Smyrna is prepping for their 2027 displays and are inviting artists to fill out a form to participate! Each month will have an assigned theme revolving around a concept or medium. Each Artist will be provided with a 4×4 foot space that is approximately 2 feet deep. The space also includes 2 adjustable shelves. Art is kept safe behind a locked glass display case.
Artists are not permitted to sell art directly out of the display case however, displaying contact info, business cards, QR codes or links to websites is permitted. Displayed art cannot have listed prices. All Artwork must be appropriate for all ages. Artists may drop off their works between the 28th of the previous month and the 5th of the month participating. Pick up for art is between the 28th of the month participating until the 5th of the following month.
