Join us at the Technology Engagement Center beginning next week from 4-5 PM on July 10th until August 6th for Girls STEAM Ahead with NASA! This event is free and open to incoming 3rd to 12th graders and EVERYONE IS WELCOME! No registration is required for this event! This event is a series and we encourage attending each week. Still, we also welcome new faces and anyone interested in learning about Cosmic Mysteries, Sounds of the Universe, and How Planets Talk to Us!

Join us for 'Tales to Tails' at Smyrna Public Library, where children can sign up for a special opportunity to read to a therapy dog! Our furry friends are here to lend a listening ear as children practice their reading skills in a comfortable and non-judgmental environment. Whether it's a favorite story or a new adventure, these gentle and patient therapy dogs offer companionship and encouragement to young readers as they embark on their literary journey. Tales to Tails not only fosters a love of reading but also builds confidence and creates positive associations with books and reading. Come share a story and make a new furry friend at Tales to Tails. 10 minute slots are available on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Thursdays from 3:00pm-4:30. Sign up for the SUMMER 2024 Girls Who Code session at the Technology Engagement Center! Use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build your own website from the ground up & create lasting sisterhood and memories with your fellow GWC members. We'll be meeting weekly on Wednesday afternoons from 2:30pm - 4:00pm, starting 5/29 and ending with our end-of-club showcase party on 7/31. No coding experience is necessary--ALL are welcome!
