Tales to Tails at Smyrna Public Library
Join us for ‘Tales to Tails’ at Smyrna Public Library, where children can sign up for a special opportunity to read to a therapy dog! Our furry friends are here to lend a listening ear as children practice their reading skills in a comfortable and non-judgmental environment. Whether it’s a favorite story or a new adventure, these gentle and patient therapy dogs offer companionship and encouragement to young readers as they embark on their literary journey. Tales to Tails not only fosters a love of reading but also builds confidence and creates positive associations with books and reading. Come share a story and make a new furry friend at Tales to Tails. 10 minute slots are available on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Thursdays from 3:00pm-4:30.
