It’s that time of year again! Linebaugh Library is bringing you free comics for Halloween Comic Fest 2025. This event helps highlight local comic book shops as a prime community resource for spooky comics, graphic novels, and more! Comic books are gateways to literary experiences. The unique storytelling helps bridge the gap between picture book stories and print. Literacy is one of our #1 priorities at the library. Come celebrate community literacy with your local librarians! These comics are made possible by our amazing partners in community literacy, The Great Escape.

We are bringing all of the free fun for all age groups: comics, prizes, costume contest, candy, activities, movies, popcorn, and more! This year marks the 30th anniversary of Casper the movie, which we will show plus other Halloween classics. Costumes are not required but encouraged as we will be having our annual costume contest! Employees will be voting throughout the day.
We are adding an adult program to the fun this year as well! Halloween trivia night at Middle Ground Brewery on Friday, October 24. Enjoy community, Halloween spirit, trivia, and a cold beverage. This event is a 21+ event that starts at 7pm and will go until 9! Hope to see you there!
