Yarn Love Murfreesboro is a casual group of yarn enthusiasts who love to knit and crochet. Meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month in the 2nd-floor conference room. All levels of experience are welcome from beginners to experts. Come out and talk shop, bring your current works in progress, stitch a project for charity, or just learn! We'll be glad to give pointers to anyone who wants to get involved. Just bring your yarn, hooks, or needles, and we'll get you started. Stuck on a pattern? Maybe we can help you! Curious about how art affects our emotions? Join us for a free, artist-led workshop on the 3rd Tuesday of each month in the 2nd floor Conference Room at Linebaugh Public Library. Artist CatieBeth Thomas has been volunteering as an art therapist, creating her own painted and fiber art works and teaching art since 2013. She is a native Tennesseean who believes everyone should have access to community spaces where they can express themselves. Children are invited to bring their favorite stuffed animals for a special library sleepover! Come to Smyrna Public Library wearing your pajamas and with your stuffed animal friend for Pajama Story Time. We'll read stories, sing songs, and play fun story time games. Then, children will bid their beloved stuffed companions farewell as they tuck them in for an overnight stay at the library. While the children head home for bedtime, their stuffed animals embark on their own magical journey, exploring the library's shelves, cozy reading nooks, and secret hideaways. It's a night of imagination, friendship, and literary wonder that promises to create cherished memories for all! Tuesday, July 2nd at 6:00 p.m. Programs close 10 minutes after start time. This chapter (or Ring) is part of the International Brotherhood of Magicians, a nonprofit organization that is one of the oldest and most respected societies of Magicians in the world. Our goal is to promote, advance and present entertaining magic to all our audiences while preserving the heritage of our craft and passing along its time honored traditions to future generations. We meet the 1st Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM in the 2nd floor Conference Room at the Linebaugh Library in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. We encourage anyone with an interest in the magical arts to drop by for a visit to any of our meetings.
