LEGO Jr. Club at the TEC

LEGO Club at the TEC

Join us at the Technology Engagement Center for a fun-filled afternoon of creativity and construction! Our Lego Club offers a chance to build, play, and unleash your imagination. Every month, will bring an exciting new building challenge where you can showcase your skills. Don't miss out on the fun—bring your friends and your best building ideas! The LEGO Club at the TEC meets two times per month. The first Friday of the month is for builders 5-8 years old and the third Friday of the month is for builders 9+ years old. Each session meets at 3:00pm. This program is free and open to the public.

Glowforge Orientation

Join us at the TEC every Saturday for our Glowforge orientation. This orientation is required for using the Glowforge at the TEC. Please e-mail info-tec@rclstn.org to sign up for this orientation. NOTE: Orientation dates are first come, first served. You may request a specific date, but this page is not updated to reflect which classes have been filled. Class sizes are small and recommended for ages 13 and up.   All children 12 and under must stay with a parent or guardian at all times. All individuals taking the orientation must have their own RCLS library card (no card sharing).

Join Ms. Nicole for Silly Song and Dance Mondays at 10 A.M. at Smyrna Public Library.  This is an exciting high energy program for all ages. Our songs are geared for toddlers and preschoolers to stretch, dance, and sing! We will learn about shapes, colors, letters, and numbers while singing and dancing. Adult participation is encouraged! **Programs close at ten minutes after start time.

The Curiosity Club is a new play club for preschool through early elementary grades. Every Monday afternoon we’ll set up the children’s section with toys, games, art supplies, and books on a topic kids might be curious about, and let their imaginations soar! The one rule for Curiosity Club is there are NO SCREENS allowed, so please help us keep the section screen-free during this program.

Tuesday Morning Book Group

The Tuesday Morning Book Group meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 10:00 a.m. and reads a mixture of literary fiction, non-fiction, and classics. Every Tuesday and Wednesday at 10 am we’ll have storytimes full of engaging stories, silly songs, a puppet show, and a craft! This year’s theme is “A is for All!” with a focus on Fry’s sight words list.
