Chair Yoga is an exercise and stretch class designed to be done with the support of a chair. It’s an ideal exercise for those who don’t want to get on the floor or who can benefit from a chair to support their balance. It’s typically practiced by older adults or people recovering from injuries. Try it out for free at Smyrna Public Library!
Tweens aged 9-12 are welcome to join us every 2nd Friday of the month for our Tween Board Game Club! We play board games, card games, and strategy games with new titles featured every single meeting. Join us for an introductory 3D print orientation at the Smyrna Public Library.
Come learn how to design your own 3D printables at Smyrna Public Library on Fridays from 12:30 to 1:30 PM. This is not a 3D Printer Class or Orientation, but a great way to better understand Tinkercad before (or after) you take the orientation! The recommended age for this event is 13+ any library patron under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a minor. Registration required.
Join us at the TEC every Saturday for our Glowforge orientation. This orientation is required for using the Glowforge at the TEC. Please e-mail info-tec@rclstn.org to sign up for this orientation. NOTE: Orientation dates are first come, first served. You may request a specific date, but this page is not updated to reflect which classes have been filled. Class sizes are small and recommended for ages 13 and up. All children 12 and under must stay with a parent or guardian at all times. Are you ready to GAME? Teens aged 13-18 can join us every 3rd Saturday of the month from 2-4pm to test out their skills and battle for glory and prizes in our video game tournament series! In September, we'll be having a Super Mario Party Jamboree Minigame Madness showdown. Snacks provided. Teens are free to bring their own devices/consoles as well for casual gaming while the tournament goes on. Come hang out with fellow gamers & put your skills to the test! Join Ms. Nicole for Silly Song and Dance Mondays at 10 A.M. at Smyrna Public Library. This is an exciting high energy program for all ages. Our songs are geared for toddlers and preschoolers to stretch, dance, and sing! We will learn about shapes, colors, letters, and numbers while singing and dancing. Adult participation is encouraged! **Programs close at ten minutes after start time.
