The Afternoon Book Group meets on the 1st Thursday of each month at 1 p.m. The Afternoon Book Club reads a mixture of light and serious novels and nonfiction and enjoys outings several times a year. When you arrive, be sure to enter our drawing for gift cards and Theory 11 playing cards! Watch movies and have some popcorn and drinks, too. All free! Do you have a child who is a struggling or new reader? Does your child love to read? Does your child love dogs? We have the perfect opportunity for you here at Linebaugh! Call to register to read to a trained Reading Education Assistance Dog! The dogs love to listen to children read while being petted and cuddled! Stevie and General will be here on Mondays from 3:30-5 pm. 

MidTN Magic Group

Welcome to the area’s finest magical organization. This chapter (or Ring) is part of the International Brotherhood of Magicians, a nonprofit organization that is one of the oldest and most respected societies of Magicians in the world. Our goal is to promote, advance and present entertaining magic to all our audiences while preserving the heritage of our craft and passing along its time honored traditions to future generations. We meet the 1st Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM in the 2nd floor Conference Room at the Linebaugh Library in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. We encourage anyone with an interest in the magical arts to drop by for a visit to any of our meetings. The future of magic in middle Tennessee has never been more exciting and we want to share it with you. If you’re a local friend or are just going to be passing through the area we hope you’ll stop by in person at our next gathering. The magic carpet is always rolled out for you at The Middle Tennessee Magic Club.
