Afternoon Book Group
The Afternoon Book Group meets on the 1st Thursday of each month at 1 p.m. The Afternoon Book Club reads a mixture of light and serious novels and nonfiction and enjoys outings several times a year. Eagleville First Friday
For the first time, the RCLS Bookmobile will be on hand for the First Friday events in downtown Eagleville. While you're on hand for live entertainment and enjoying some of Rutherford counties finest food trucks and local restaurants stop by and tour our brand new mobile library! We offer a full library services including an onboard collection of adult and child material, free wi-fi and notary services when available. Look for us to be parked next to Eagleville Mercantile!

This chapter (or Ring) is part of the International Brotherhood of Magicians, a nonprofit organization that is one of the oldest and most respected societies of Magicians in the world. Our goal is to promote, advance and present entertaining magic to all our audiences while preserving the heritage of our craft and passing along its time honored traditions to future generations. We meet the 1st Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM in the 2nd floor Conference Room at the Linebaugh Library in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. We encourage anyone with an interest in the magical arts to drop by for a visit to any of our meetings. Art for Inner Exploration
Art for Inner Exploration
Curious about how art affects our emotions? Join us for a free, artist-led workshop on the 3rd Tuesday of each month in the 2nd floor Conference Room at Linebaugh Public Library. Artist CatieBeth Thomas has been volunteering as an art therapist, creating her own painted and fiber art works and teaching art since 2013. She is a native Tennesseean who believes everyone should have access to community spaces where they can express themselves. Participants will explore color theory and their emotions, gratitude, and self love. These art classes will be from 5:30 - 6:30 pm, are for adults and teens, and all materials are provided. Linebaugh Public Library is pleased to host local author Mary Thompson for a book signing on Saturday, May 25th, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The author will be signing and selling copies of her book Who Let the Dogs Out: Warnings Against False Prophets/Teachers. Thompson says “Who Let the Dogs Out: Warnings Against False Prophets/Teachers is written for you, and you, and you!! It matters in these last days for your soul. This small book will give you better insight into false prophets and teachers. The dogs are anyone who does evil and turns their back on God, rejecting his teachings.”
