Pumpkin Painting Party at Linebaugh

Join us for our Annual Pumpkin Painting Party on Saturday, October 19th at 10 am. We’ll provide the paint and supplies – you bring the pumpkin! Patrons will vote in-house and online the following week, with prizes available for the winners! Please see the contest rules below!
Pumpkin Painting Contest Rules
- Choose your favorite children’s or YA book and decorate a REAL pumpkin to make it look like a character or theme of that book.
- You can create your pumpkin using any materials you want. NO CARVING is allowed. (They just won’t last!) Pumpkins will be displayed on the Easy shelving so please make sure your entry is stable.
- Pumpkin turn in dates are October 19th following the Pumpkin Painting Party from 10 am-12 pm through October 20th.
- All eligible entries will be judged by patrons. The winners in each age group will receive bragging rights and a prize! Winners will be announced at the Haunted Hijinks event on October 26th and on the RCLS Facebook page on October 28th.
- Please pick up your pumpkin entries by October 30th at 5 pm. Take them home to share with friends and neighbors on Halloween!
