Join the League of Women Voters (LWV) of Murfreesboro-Rutherford County, co-sponsored by Statewide Organizing for
Community eMpowerment (SOCM), for an informative presentation with the Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition (TIRRC), a
statewide, immigrant-led organization working to strengthen civic participation and advocacy.

This program will cover:

• Recent Tennessee legislation affecting immigrant and refugee communities.
• Refugee resettlement and integration in Tennessee, including what’s happening right here in Rutherford County.
• How YOU can take action, from educating voters to engaging elected officials and supporting immigrant and refugee neighbors in our community.
• Q&A and open discussion.
