Rutherford County Library System Foundation Invites Media to Derby Sponsorship Preview and Community Impact Photo Opportunity
Murfreesboro, TN — The Rutherford County Library System (RCLS) Foundation invites local media to a photo opportunity and media preview focused on sponsorship opportunities for the upcoming RCLS Foundation Derby, scheduled for Saturday, April 25, and the Foundation’s ongoing efforts to support library services throughout Rutherford County.
The media event will take place Monday, February 23 at 4:30 p.m. at the Technology Engagement Center (306 Minerva Drive, Murfreesboro). Members of the press are invited to meet Foundation leadership, learn how Derby sponsorships support community-focused library initiatives, and hear about the Foundation’s priorities for the coming year. The photo opportunity will feature Foundation-funded projects, including the Technology Engagement Center and the Rutherford County Library System Bookmobile, highlighting the tangible impact of philanthropic support in the community.
The upcoming Bookmobile 2 project will also be present as part of the Foundation’s broader capital investment efforts. Foundation representatives will be available to discuss Derby sponsorship levels, community partnerships, and how local support directly funds innovative programs, outreach services, and infrastructure that expand access to library resources across Rutherford County. This event offers local media an opportunity to preview the Derby, connect with Foundation leadership, and spotlight how community sponsorships make a lasting local impact.
