DESCRIPTION:We are celebrating Take Your Child to the Library Day at Linebaugh Public Library with BLUEY DAY! Join us for a day full of Bluey fun! \n9:30 – 11:00 am: Check in at the Welcome table for a (FREE) ticket to meet with Bluey (along with a special new friend to meet!). The first 200 patrons also receive a Sticky Gecko!\n10:00 am: Bluey Storytime and Costume Contest! The Costume Contest will be Bluey-style “Granny” costumes. Costumes are encouraged but not required. Voting will be decided by applause\, with a prize awarded to the winner!\n11:00 am – 2:00 pm: Bluey Meet & Greet/Photo Opportunity. Library staff will call patrons by the color ticket they received on check-in.\n2:00 – 4:00 pm: Bluey-themed games & activities! Play a game of Keepy Uppy and Musical Statues\, and make a Featherwand! \n*Tickets to meet Bluey characters\, craft supplies\, and Bluey trinkets are available while supplies last!*\nPatrons will only be able to see Bluey WITH a TICKET between 11AM-2PM on a first come\, first served basis.

DESCRIPTION:TAB meets every 1st Saturday of the month from 2:30-4:30pm in the 1st floor club room at Linebaugh Public Library! \n2026 Meeting Changes/Cancellations: \n\nFeb. 7th– delayed to 3:30-4:30pm due to Bluey Day\nApr. 4th– CANCELLED due to Easter holiday\nMay 2nd– delayed to 3:30-4:30pm due to Free Comic Book Day\nJuly 4th– CANCELLED due to Independence Day holiday\nSept. 5th– CANCELLED due to Labor Day holiday\n\nTeen Advisory Board (or TAB) is a great way for teens aged 13-18 to get involved in their community\, make their voices heard\, and earn service hours! Think of it like a “student council” for the local library. We plan events (like the ones on this page!)\, curate a monthly book display\, collaborate on outreach/marketing/social media initiatives\, and more! \nTAB looks awesome on a resume & each meeting counts for 2 volunteer hours\, plus you get exclusive volunteering opportunities for our biggest events! That means if you attend every TAB meeting and take advantage of the bonus events\, you can earn up to 24 extra volunteer hours per year!
