Join us on Zoom, as we write a song as a group in this introductory workshop. Songwriter Kayley Nell Walker will teach the fundamentals of songwriting, including form, theme, and rhyme scheme. Participants will listen to a Tenille Townes song to get the creative juices flowing, then sing their newly written song. Walker is a museum educator and singer-songwriter who has performed on NBC’s Today show. In 2016, her EP Wanderlust was nominated for an Independent Music Award. Presented in partnership with Smyrna Public Library Summer Reading Program.

Registration is required and can be completed using the following link: https://forms.gle/Juxxb8A6z56n9p418
