Walter King Hoover was a long-time Smyrna resident and historian. Mr. Hoover was active in the community and supported both the Smyrna Public Library and the Friends of Smyrna Library in various ways. Mr. Hoover always wanted to see more adult-oriented programming at the library. This annual program is in his honor.
