Decorate your pumpkin for fun or make it book-themed to enter into our Pumpkin Painting Contest. \nContest rules are listed below: \n\n\n\nChoose your favorite children’s or YA book and decorate a REAL pumpkin to make it look like a character or theme of that book.\nYou can create your pumpkin using any materials you want. NO CARVING is allowed. (They just won’t last!) Pumpkins will be displayed on the Easy shelving so please make sure your entry is stable.\nPumpkin turn in dates are October 18th following the Pumpkin Painting Party through October 20th.\nAll eligible entries will be judged by patrons. The winners in each age group will receive bragging rights and a prize! Winners will be announced at the Haunted Hijinks event on October 25th and on the RCLS Facebook page on October 27th.\nPlease pick up your pumpkin entries by October 31st at 5 pm.
