Interested teens aged 12-18 can meet with us every first Saturday of the month from 3-4:30pm to discuss ways to make the library even better…for teens! \nWe plan events\, curate a monthly book display\, and are in the process of redesigning our teen lounge. Want to help out? Fill out this form below\, and we’ll give you all the info! The best part? If you attend TAB meetings\, you can earn up to 18 volunteer service hours per year just by showing up\, chatting with us\, and helping us out.\n\n\nPlus: snacks. Need I say more. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a Sight Word Snack Attack at Smyrna Public Library Tuesdays at 3:15 p.m. \nSight Word Snack Attack is a program where children are given a snack and water\, then we play a round of Sight Word Bingo\, then children can choose from a variety of fun sight word games to play! Geared toward preschool-3rd grade. Adult participation is highly recommended. \nSight words are common words that kids recognize instantly without sounding them out. Recognizing words by sight helps kids become faster\, more fluent readers.
