With the launch of the new programs\, AutismTN is hosting a free public presentation\, “Introduction to the Autistic Neurotype\,” on January 25\, 2025. This engaging session will explore autistic experiences and ways to create a more inclusive community. \n  \nThanks to funding from the KFC Foundation\, the library will soon offer: \n• A Sensory-Friendly Space: A relaxing area equipped with adjustable lighting\, comfortable seating\, and soundscapes to support sensory needs. \n• Sensory Kits: Available for use in the library or to check out\, these kits include stim aids and other tools to enhance comfort during library visits or at home. \n• Updated Collections: Books and materials authored by Autistic people\, offering neuro-affirming perspectives and valuable insights into neurodiversity. \n
