Do you just like interior design in general? Here’s your chance to put your skills to the test! We want your help in redesigning the tween/teen lounge here at Linebaugh. \nUse the modeling/design methods of your choice (traditional art\, 3D modeling\, dioramas\, etc.) and submit your design to us for a chance to see it come to life. You could win fabulous prizes…including gift cards & the honor of a plaque commemorating your contributions to Linebaugh Library hanging in the teen lounge for all to see! \nContest rules & submission can be found here: https://forms.gle/sHAZQmftbhFVRviE6. DESCRIPTION:Ever wondered how to get more involved with your community? Ever wondered how the library could be even better for teens? Ever wondered how to get service hours in one of the literal easiest ways possible? ENTER: THE LINEBAUGH TEEN ADVISORY BOARD (or TAB). \nYou can think of TAB like a “student council” for the public library. Interested teens aged 12-18 can meet with us every first Saturday of the month from 2:30-4:30pm to discuss ways to make the library even better…for teens! \nWe plan events\, curate a monthly book display\, and are in the process of redesigning our teen lounge. Want to help out? Fill out this form below\, and we’ll give you all the info! The best part? If you attend TAB meetings\, you can earn up to 18 volunteer service hours per year just by showing up\, chatting with us\, and helping us out.\n\n\nPlus: snacks. Need I say more.
