This orientation is required for using the Glowforge at the TEC. \nPlease e-mail info-tec@rclstn.org to sign up for this orientation. \nNOTE: Orientation dates are first come\, first served. You may request a specific date\, but this page is not updated to reflect which classes have been filled. Class sizes are small and recommended for ages 13 and up. \n  \nAll children 12 and under must stay with a parent or guardian at all times. All individuals taking the orientation must have their own RCLS library card (no card sharing).

DESCRIPTION:Bring your personal sewing machine to the Technology Engagement Center and get hands-on help with basic troubleshooting\, setup\, and general questions. Whether your machine needs threading assistance\, tension tips\, or you just want to better understand how it works\, sign up at the link below for help! \nThe session is led by an enthusiastic sewing hobbyist who loves sharing knowledge and helping others gain confidence with their machines. \nPlease note: Participants are responsible for their own sewing machines. The library and program leader are not liable for any damage\, loss\, or repairs to personal equipment brought to the program. \nThis program is free\, but registration is required at the link below.  \nIf you would like to take the orientation to be able to use the Sewing Machine that is in the Makerspace at the TEC please e-mail Lee Curtis @ hcurtis@rclstn.org to set up an appointment.
