DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Will Eisner Week with a viewing of the documentary “Will Eisner: Portrait of a Sequential Artist” at Linebaugh Library\, Friday March 7th\, 1.30 pm in the 2nd floor Conference Room. Eisner was a pioneer of sequential art form\, the use of ordered images to tell a narrative that can entertain as well as educate – the comic book and the graphic novel. This is the story of his 60 year career spanning the 1930s on into the 1990s. Features interviews with Will Eisner\, Kurt Vonnegut\, Michael Chabon\, Jules Feiffer\, Art Spiegelman\, Jack Kirby\, Stan Lee\, Frank Miller\, Gil Kane\, and others.
