Linebaugh Public Library is pleased to host local children’s author Robert (Bob) Kennedy, also known as Mr. ChickenBiscuits for a book signing on Saturday, December 14, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Mr. ChickenBiscuits Enterprises recently announced the release of Sam Needs a Bath, Book 6 in the “Sam the Dog” series by Mr. ChickenBiscuits. Sam is a lovable cartoon dog, part beagle, part fun. In this story, Sam had fun all week, but now he’s dirty. And
smelly—Sam needs a bath! But Sam hates baths. Sam tries hiding, then disguises, then runs but falls into a kiddie pool. Sam is finally clean and learns a great lesson. Baths are fun!

Young kids enjoy the interesting things Sam finds to do each day. Even if Sam faces obstacles along the way, things always end well for Sam. Plus: Kids have fun looking for the secret image! (Every book has a banana somewhere in the story.)
All Sam books are family-friendly picture books for ages 3 to 8, from preschool to second grade. They can serve as engaging books for early readers or read aloud as short bedtime stories. They are available on Amazon.com as paperbacks and as Kindle eBooks.

Mr. ChickenBiscuits is the author of the popular book series about Sam the dog. In real life, Mr. ChickenBiscuits is Robert (Bob) Kennedy of Murfreesboro, TN. Kennedy is a graduate of MTSU, earning his MBA in 1988 while working for Schneider Electric in La Vergne. Electrical engineer by training and marketing manager by profession, Kennedy is a lifelong author of children's books.

Kennedy first wrote about the imagined adventures of the family dog Sam when a kid himself, to read to his younger sister and brother. Years later he read these same stories to his sons, and now he loves to read the books to his four grandchildren.

The author will sell the books for $7.00 each. Cash and credit cards accepted.
