DESCRIPTION:Teen Creative Writing Club is canceled for Tuesday\, December 16th. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.  \nCome share your writing with other creative teens & learn new skills to improve your technique! 3rd Tuesday sessions are dedicated to members’ personal projects. Participants can share up to 4 minutes of original work and receive feedback and constructive critiques from their peers. Bring your stories\, poems\, songs\, scripts\, essays\, or whatever you’ve got–we’ll tell you what we think! \nAll proficiencies welcome; ages 13-18 only. Teen Creative Writing Club meets every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 4-5:30pm in the 1st floor clubroom at Linebaugh. \n\n\nEmail Taylor at tdavis@rclstn.org for more information. \n\nNote: The 1st Tuesday meeting on Oct. 7th will be CANCELLED due to the CSLP conference in Nashville. We hope to see you all on the 21st for the freeform session!

SUMMARY:Art for Inner Exploration
DESCRIPTION:Curious about how art affects our emotions? Join us for a free\, artist-led workshop on the 3rd Tuesday of each month in the 2nd floor Conference Room at Linebaugh Public Library. Artist CatieBeth Thomas has been volunteering as an art therapist\, creating her own painted and fiber art works and teaching art since 2013. She is a native Tennesseean who believes everyone should have access to community spaces where they can express themselves. Participants will explore color theory and their emotions\, gratitude\, and self love. These art classes will be from 5:30 – 6:30 pm\, are for adults and teens\, and all materials are provided.
