DESCRIPTION:Have you ever wanted to play Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer or The Sims with your local government building? Love redecorating your room at home or planning your dream dorm? Do you just like interior design in general? Here’s your chance to put your skills to the test! We want your help in redesigning the tween/teen lounge here at Linebaugh. \nUse the modeling/design methods of your choice (traditional art\, 3D modeling\, dioramas\, etc.) and submit your design to us for a chance to see it come to life. You could win fabulous prizes…including gift cards & the honor of a plaque commemorating your contributions to Linebaugh Library hanging in the teen lounge for all to see! \nContest rules & submission can be found here: https://forms.gle/sHAZQmftbhFVRviE6. DESCRIPTION:Tuesday\, August 5th: Literary Elements – Introduction \nTuesday\, September 2nd: Literary Elements – Character \nTuesday\, October : Literary Elements – Dialogue \nTuesday\, November : Literary Elements – Setting \n\nTuesday\, December: Literary Elements – Plot \n\nCome share your writing with other creative teens & learn new skills to improve your technique! 1st Tuesday sessions are dedicated to a more focused look at creative writing and feature a presentation centered around certain aspects of the craft\, as well as take-home activities & in-session writing practice. \nThis fall\, we’ll be discussing different literary elements. All proficiencies welcome; ages 12-18 only. Teen Creative Writing Club meets every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 4-5:30pm in the 1st floor clubroom at Linebaugh. \n\n\nEmail Taylor at tdavis@rclstn.org for more information.

DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the area’s finest magical organization. This chapter (or Ring) is part of the International Brotherhood of Magicians\, a nonprofit organization that is one of the oldest and most respected societies of Magicians in the world. Our goal is to promote\, advance and present entertaining magic to all our audiences while preserving the heritage of our craft and passing along its time honored traditions to future generations. \nWe meet the 1st Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM in the 2nd floor Conference Room at the Linebaugh Library in Murfreesboro\, Tennessee. We encourage anyone with an interest in the magical arts to drop by for a visit to any of our meetings. The future of magic in middle Tennessee has never been more exciting and we want to share it with you. If you’re a local friend or are just going to be passing through the area we hope you’ll stop by in person at our next gathering.
